HDTV Tuner Boxes / Digital Mandate
February 17, 2009 is the [current] drop-dead date for Analog TV broadcasts in the US. DTVConverter.info provides all the essential info a consumer needs to know about this transition and how to be prepared. Taking the topic a step further, CNET has a good article discussing converter boxes, among other technologies, that consumers choosing to stick with their standard 4:3 TVs will need to keep watching.

HD Radio Research
Seeing as this is the start of this blog, it seems appropriate to introduce some topics and link to some references. Wikipedia has a great page for HD Radio as well as HDTV. The US Government has an offical site for digital television featuring a countdown to the conversion, among other things.
